I currently work in software development (using the Microsoft .Net technology stack) for a private research and development / new product development company based in the Midlands, UK. As well as software, my academic background is maths / AI (degrees in maths and a PhD in artificial intelligence – neural networks, genetic algorithms / genetic programming & reinforcement learning algorithms).

Outside of work, my interests include reading up on and developing algorithms & code for investing / fintech / quant research type projects.
